Baptism Ceremony

We are gathered here in this unusual way today to assist, support and celebrate the wishes of Hilda Fragata. That she manifest outwardly her inward commitment and desire to become one with Jesus Christ and to share in His death and resurrection.. “For we are all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body“ in Christ..

It is Hilda’s fervent desire , from this moment, to walk in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ , to be forgiven for all sins, and to become “one” in the body of Christ and Henceforth be a light in the world for all to witness…

We will follow the wisdom of Peter when he advises in Acts 2:38, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

We are assembled here today, therefore, to do the work of the Lord…

Will the baptismal Master ( Bernard) and Hilda take your places in the water ?

Sister Hilda Fragata, as a result of your repentance, and because you do accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, as your Lord and Master, I now baptize you into the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit…..

Baptismal Master will now submerge our sister…..

Heavenly Father,

In your love you have called us to know you,

led us to trust you, as our life is bound with yours..

Surround this woman with your love,

protect her from evil and deliver her through darkness.

Fill her with the joy of the holy spirit and

 

Receive her into the family of God,

that she may walk with us in the way of Christ,

and grow in the knowledge of your love.
